WHY SCHAEFERY YACHTS?

In a nutshell design: design, technology and safety. For 27 years we have invested with persistance in studies, engineering and new technologies to ensure all safety that a vessel should have. Our goal is to deliver sophisticated, safe and high-performance boats. We continuously strive to find the best solution for every detail. Two of the main difference amony many others is the production process of a Schaefer Yacht: the in-house 5-axis CNC for molds up to 80 feet and the production of all structural parts by vacuum resin infusion.

5 Axis CNC

Unique in the nautical market, SCHAEFER YACHTS utilizes its own 5-axis CNC machine which it is capable of milling molds of up to 80 feet from one block, resulting in the highest quality, precision and finish on all fiberglass and carbon fiber parts. An exclusive construction process, and one of the most modern in the world, puts Schaefer Yachts at the forefront of leisure boat production globally.

Resin Infusion

All structural fiberglass parts of all vessels from 36 to 83 feet are produced by vacuum infusion. The process has been part of the shipyard's production line since 2006 and is executed with highest precision and consistency. It results in a more study, lighter, less noisy, more economical and ultra-resistant boat, providing more safety and comfort for every voyage.

IPS 800

Volvo Penta IPS800 is perfectly matched package, powered by in-line 6-cylinder D11, a 10-8 liter, common rail diesel with a twin-entry turbo, and supercharger for incredible, low rpm response. Working together with a perfectly matched IPS2 pod, twin counter-rotating propellers and the Electronic Vessel Control system, this package offers excellent manuverability, long action range and low emissions.

The IPS system can be extended with unique features and functions that will make your life at sea even more enjoyable. By integrating your yacht's engines and electronics through the Electronic Vessel Control system, you'll be to experience intuitive Joystick Driving or the Intelligent Dynamic Positioning System, everything easily monitored through the Volvo Penta Glass Cockpit System - a monitoring system that gathers all driver information and displays it on one or multiple high-tech displays
